The “L” Clinch
What’s Inside
In 1993 Royce Gracie stunned the world with his “ attack by drawing “ clinch.
Instead of using his hand to punch, his arm was extended to measure the distance so he could close it without getting hit. Once he locked onto the dominant angle of attack, the takedown was almost certain.
This position has come to be known as the “T” clinch, but in this class I demonstrate what I consider a better way—- the “L” clinch. Enjoy!
